Rod is now in his 2nd year as an inspector with Simcoe. He has completed the pre-requisite educational material on his way to full status as a Registered Home Inspector with the Province of Ontario.

- Over 15 years experience in residential renovation and construction

- Diploma from Municipal Housing and Affairs course - Part 9 Building Envelope

- Diploma from Municipal Housing and Affairs course - Part 9 Health and Safety

-Successful completion of Ministry of Housing training courses on plumbing inspection,  heating, ventilation, health and safety, air conditioning inspection and the Ontario Building Code. - Completed over 200 residential inspections

- Completed attendance on 2007 Ontario Building Code revision course.

- Certified Home Energy Advisor with Energuide for Houses program

- Certified Home Inspector by NACHI ( National Association of Certified Home Inspectors )
